Troy Sample is serving as the President of the Sherman Shadowcats baseball team in the Mid America League. Troy was raised in Huffman, Texas by his parents, Rusty and Brenda, and is the middle child of 3 boys. Troy graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2007 with a degree in mathematics and accounting. Troy began his career as an educator and coach at Huffman ISD. He spent 17 years in education as a math teacher, while coaching football and baseball throughout his years there. Troy has been married to his wife, Brandy, for 17 years. They have two children, T.J. 15, and Brooke 11. Troy is an avid baseball fan and is excited to have a part in putting together a winning team. Troy’s goal is to give the community of Sherman a team they can be proud of and show pride in.
